Dave McLellan’s Concert In Your Living Room for Quincy Animal Shelter was fantastic! He brought wonderful energy to the Historical Society (our venue) that day.  The room really enjoyed his stories intertwined with the performances.

As a volunteer for QAS, I knew I wanted to try doing a fundraiser for the Shelter, and as a guitarist myself, Concert In Your Living Room was the first thing that came to mind. But I'd never run a fundraiser before, and it was a new and different kind of event for the Shelter. It was very easy to do. The Quincy Historical Society offered their beautiful venue. Dave provided everything we needed for publicity, including concert programs with our logo. He was able to answer questions quickly and helped us with various details we hadn't thought of.  It was a terrific experience, and a very successful fundraiser. We have already engaged Dave to do it again in 2026!

I am incredibly grateful to Dave McLellan for his generous support of Playhouse on Park.  It is rare in this day and age to see someone give of themselves so selflessly as Dave does through the Concert in Your Living Room program.    There are so many benefits...his generous offer encourages people to donate to the charity; he brings people together which fosters community but also brings awareness to the charity the concert has benefited; guests are able to enjoy his incredible talent along with the insight he provides throughout.    It is brilliant and we are touched that he chooses to support our work year after year (he has given five such events to benefit Playhouse).

When Dave McLellan agreed to play for a gathering of friends in my home, I expected good music, but I didn't expect that we would be totally enthralled, which we were! Dave's program included dramatic compositions, melodic works and lively dance pieces. The commentary drew us in, and added to the exceptional musical experience.

The event had multiple objectives. The primary purpose was to produce a successful fundraising event for Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. But it was also a chance for friends to get together and appreciate great music. I highly recommend Concert In Your Living Room as an important ingredient in any charitable fund-raising activities. Dave, you have our gratitude for a wonderful evening.
